Earnings and payouts
Use Earnings when you want a quick payout-related view. The seller nav label is Earnings; the underlying route is /payouts.
Treat dashboard earnings as an operational signal, then use Payouts & Reports when you need the details behind orders, payments, deposits, and reconciliation.
How earnings are counted
An order counts toward your earnings as soon as the buyer pays, even if you have not marked it completed yet. Earnings start with item and delivery revenue, exclude customer tax, and subtract any absorbed service fee, tax on VibeKitchen’s fee, Stripe’s actual processing fee, refunds, and lost disputes. See “How the fee works and what you keep” for the breakdown.
Refunds and lost disputes are subtracted automatically. A refund reduces the earnings of the period when the order was paid, so past weeks or months can adjust after you issue a refund.
The dashboard card shows the current calendar year. The Lifetime figure on Earnings covers everything you have ever earned and does not reset in January.
Read the Earnings page
Earnings is a summary surface, not a promise that money has already landed in your bank account. Payouts arrive on Stripe’s schedule — use Payouts & Reports to see what was actually paid out.
- 1Open Earnings from the seller navigation.
- 2Review the overview cards for the current payout-related summary.
- 3Use order detail or Payouts & Reports when you need to trace a specific order, payment, deposit, refund, or dispute.
- 4Use Settings for payout account changes, tax document help, or legal payment-account updates.
Payouts & Reports
Payouts & Reports is the deeper review area. It has five tabs: Orders, Transactions, Payouts, Balance, and Tax documents. The order export separates gross buyer payments, customer tax, marketplace-held customer tax, VibeKitchen fees, tax on those fees, Stripe processing, refunds, disputes, and net earnings.
On mobile, Transactions, Payouts, Balance, and Tax documents open Stripe in a secure browser window. Use Return to VibeKitchen when shown, or close the browser with Done or Back. Any payment-account status shown in the app is refreshed from VibeKitchen after you return.
- Orders shows VibeKitchen order data, buyer details, fulfillment, and the component-aware earnings breakdown.
- Transactions shows Stripe charge-level payment details, refund status, and dispute drill-down. It is different from Orders, and Stripe payment-notification links land here. Start order refunds in VibeKitchen’s Refunds section.
- Payouts shows what Stripe sent to your bank, and when.
- Balance shows available and pending funds. If a lost dispute leaves a negative balance, open this tab to review and resolve it.
- Tax documents is where your Stripe-issued 1099-K appears.
- Transaction Details shows the detail behind a specific payment when available.
