Set up payments
Start or resume the secure Rainforest setup, then understand what each payment-account status means.
Why payment setup is required
Before buyers can place real orders, your payment account has to be ready. VibeKitchen uses Rainforest for merchant onboarding, payment collection, reports, refunds, disputes, deposits, and secure account handling.
When you start setup, VibeKitchen sends you to a secure payment setup page. Finish the Rainforest prompts, return to VibeKitchen, and use Check status if the dashboard has not refreshed yet.
Payment setup states
Closing the setup window usually does not mean you have to start over. Go back to Payment Account from onboarding, Profile, or Settings, continue the secure setup, then check the status again when you return.
- Not started: begin the secure setup.
- Incomplete: finish the prompts and submit the application.
- Pending review: Rainforest has the application and is reviewing it.
- Needs information: continue setup so Rainforest can collect the missing details.
- Connected: the payment account is active for accepting orders.
- Declined: email support@vibekitchen.com before restarting.
Start or resume setup
Use the same path whether you are starting payment setup for the first time or returning after a browser closes.
- 1Open onboarding, Profile, or Settings.
- 2Find Payment Account.
- 3Choose the setup or continue action shown there.
- 4Complete the secure Rainforest prompts in the browser.
- 5Return to VibeKitchen and choose Check status if the page has not updated.
Legal and bank details
Changing your pickup or delivery address in VibeKitchen does not change the legal address or owner details on the payment account. Tax documents and eligible 1099-K forms use the details collected through Rainforest.
Do not enter bank details into the regular Settings page. Bank changes happen through a secure Rainforest flow or a support-guided path.
