Who issues my 1099-K?

Stripe issues it, based on the details collected during payment setup. VibeKitchen is not the filer. You retrieve the form through your Stripe payment account.

I did not get a 1099-K — is that a problem?

Not necessarily. Whether a 1099-K is issued depends on Stripe’s reporting thresholds for your account and state. Use your payout records in Reports for your own totals, and rely on your own tax guidance.

Stripe issues your 1099-K

If you qualify for a 1099-K in a given tax year, Stripe issues it — not VibeKitchen. It is based on the legal name, address, and tax details Stripe collected when you set up your payment account, so keep those accurate.

VibeKitchen does not file your 1099-K and does not collect a separate tax-identification form for it. Whether you receive one depends on Stripe’s reporting thresholds for your account and state.

Where to find it

Your 1099-K is available through your Stripe payment account, alongside your other payment documents. If you cannot find a form you expect, or a detail on it looks wrong, contact support and we will point you to the right place.
