Orders and messages
Manage orders
Use Orders Queue and order details to work the day: pickup times, ready status, completion, cancellation, and refunds.
Order statuses
Order statuses tell you what needs attention next. Awaiting payment means checkout started but payment has not finished. Pending means the order is placed and ready for your review. Ready means the food is prepared for pickup or delivery. Completed means the order is fulfilled.
- Cancelled orders are stopped, with a buyer refund when applicable.
- Refunded orders have a refund recorded through the payment flow.
- Expired orders did not complete payment in time, so inventory can be restored.
Common order actions
Use Orders Queue for daily triage and order detail pages when you need more context. From there you can set or change pickup time, mark food ready, complete pickup, cancel an order, or start an eligible refund.
What each status lets you do
The available buttons depend on the current status. If you do not see an action, the order is not in a state where that action is available from the seller order screen.
- Pending: Mark Ready, Cancel, and set or change pickup time for pickup orders.
- Ready: Complete Pickup, Cancel, and change pickup time for pickup orders.
- Completed: Issue Refund appears from order detail when the order is still inside the refund window.
- Cancelled, refunded, expired, or awaiting payment: no daily workflow action appears on the order detail screen.
Work an order from start to finish
For most pickup orders, the path is simple: confirm what came in, set a pickup time if needed, make the food, mark it ready, then complete the pickup after handoff.
- 1Open Orders Queue and choose the order that needs attention.
- 2Open the order detail page if you need buyer notes, fulfillment details, item totals, or pickup timing.
- 3For pickup orders, set or change the pickup time while the order is pending or ready.
- 4Use Mark Ready when the food is packed and ready for pickup or delivery.
- 5Use Complete Pickup after the buyer receives the order.
- 6Use Issue Refund from an eligible completed order when you need to start a refund flow.
